Catchin' You Up on All the Podcasts

There have been a slew of podcasts that I haven't been posting in here, and I'll start with the latest of the Rising Apple Report.

...After telling you that legendary talk show host Larry King will be on my Bedford & Sullivan Podcast once more at 2PM ET to discuss the Playoffs, and of course, Dem Bums.

Now, back to the Report! Unfortunately, the beat got to the "Mets will not pursue Jose Abreu" headline AFTER we talked about it for 5 minutes on the show, but that doesn't take away from the great debate and conversation we had. On top of that, we discussed the Jumped-Over-the-Final-Hurdle Willets Point Development project, the arbitration-eligible players the Mets have, and Matt Harvey's decision to have the Tommy John Surgery.

And after you listen to that one, give yourself a taste of New York National League History, staying active listeners in the research process of my developing HBO-Style Brooklyn Dodgers TV Series! Highlights down below include Pitcher Carl Erskine discussing the '55 season on the 58th Anniversary of their Game 7 win over the Yankees, Polo Grounds visitor's clubhouse bat boy Richie McCabe with a slew of stories about the '54 and '55 NY Baseball Giants' seasons, and Dodgers Team Historian Mark Langill discussing Leo Durocher, Larry MacPhail and the early 40's era of Brooklyn Dodgers baseball!

LET'S. GO. METS.

Thanks for reading! Follow me on Twitter @convertedmetfan. And for the latest on a Brooklyn Baseball TV Series I am developing, Like the Bedford & Sullivan Facebook page, and follow on Twitter here.

2011 Photo of the Day: The 7 Yard

Today is the official day my girlfriend and I move to Queens. It will be the fourth borough I have lived in, in the order of Manhattan, Da Bronx, Brooklyn, and now Queens, Astoria to be exact. I'm very excited, and have that much less of a bike trip to Flushing Meadows. The next four days will all be some sort of a moving day, so write-ups will get a little slow around these parts. I will, however, keep posting the 2011 Photo of the Day leading up to an actual baseball game on Monday.

Aren't you pumped?!

I know I am.

Here's the 7 Yard at Willets Point.

Queens.
