The 2nd half of the season commences tonight, with Chris Young butting heads with Tim Hudson to ramp it up. Too bad for Dillon Gee. He was really getting into a groove. But sometimes, fate allows for opportunities, and Matt Harvey might get his soon.
I am as amped up as anybody for the next phase of baseball, but this weekend, I am heading down to Nashville, TN, and Huntsville, AL, to help out on a 48-hour Nashville Film Race, and will probably not be able to follow the games much, let alone write about them. So, most likely, we will be reconvening here on Monday (or Sunday night) to discuss the happenings of the Metsies. Until then, Enjoy the weekend, enjoy some baseball, and as always...
