Landon Powell, a catcher the Mets signed to a Minor League contract, lost his infant daughter to hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis this weekend. Danny Abriano of Rising Apple does a great job explaining the disease, as his friend's nephew was born with it a few years ago. He also has information as to how we all can help these kids pull through.
