The worst MLB Gameday viewing ever

A little bit of an exaggeration, but with the offense the way it has been, it was a real thrill seeing Mike Baxter tie it at 2, but ABSOLUTELY SUCKED seeing this oddity in the top 8th:

Pedro Alvarez singles on a line drive to left fielder Lucas Duda, deflected by center fielder Juan Lagares. Andrew McCutchen scores. Pedro Alvarez to 2nd on the throw. Gaby Sanchez advances to 3rd, on a missed catch error by center fielder Juan Lagares.

WHAT?! I haven't even watched the video yet to know what that exactly means. But whatever it was, that was the game (even though what REALLY lost it was the Mets inability to tie it in the bottom half (or generally make something happen when runners are on and in scoring position with less than 2 out.)

We are kidding ourselves when we think Zack Wheeler is the answer considering we can get good starting pitching and the offense will still suck real badly. BUT it will make the team better, let alone the starting pitching, and will also raise overall morale.

OR Ike Davis could stop striking out so much.

Some sort of combination of all those ideas...

Anybody got anything else? Besides Firing Terry Collins?
