Well...That One Was a Dud.

Johan Santana had the shortest outing of his career, going only 1.1 innings, giving up 6 runs (4 earned) on 4 hits and 1 walk, leading the Mets to lose to the Braves 3-9 on Tuesday night.

Errors by Jason Bay (who took a bad route to the ball after such an amazing catch the night before) and Ike Davis (good intent trying to get the lead runner on the bunt but bad execution) did not help the cause, but as I was listening early on, I could tell Santana was a little off, getting behind most of the hitters in the short time he was out there. Luckily, it doesn't sound like there is anything physically wrong with him and he was just a little off. Hopefully that is truly the case and he can just brush it off and sit the Giants down on Monday.

At least one NY Orange and Blue team won tonight

I feel confident, though, we can win the rubber game tomorrow with "Mr. Dependable" RA Dickey ready to go at 12:10PM.

Why haven't I gotten his book yet?

I'll get right on it.

LET'S. GO. METS.
